THE EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT TEAM

Laura Seese, Ph.D.
Dr. Seese earned her Doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Connecticut. She also has a Sixth Year Degree in Educational Administration and a Master’s Degree in School Psychology. She has served as Clinical Coordinator for students experiencing ADHD, behavioral difficulties, and depression, as well as a School Psychologist, Assistant Principal, and Special Education Director in public and private schools. She is state-certified as a psychologist, a special education administrator, and an inclusion facilitator. Dr. Seese is on the Board of Directors of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). She also serves as the Director of Educational Advancement Associates.

 

Michael Langlois, CSNA, CRPC
Mr. Langlois is a financial planner with designations as both a Certified Special Needs Advisor and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, he consults with families on college savings, educational planning, portfolio development, and retirement options. He also assists with the creation of Special Needs Trusts, which allow parents to designate funds for long-term care of children with disabilities. Mr. Langlois has a degree in Business Administration and works in the Financial Services Division at Merrill Lynch.

 

Jacqueline Kelly, M.Ed.
Ms. Kelly is a Certified Special Education Teacher, Professional Tutor, ADHD Coach, and Learning Disabilities Advocate. She has a Master’s Degree in Education and Bachelors Degree in Business. She has taught in both public and private schools and holds memberships in the National Association of Special Education Teachers, the Council for Exceptional Children, and the Learning Disabilities Association of Connecticut. She also works as an independent Educational Surrogate for the State Department of Education.
